Green India Trust (GIT) a non-governmental organisation founded in 2005. It is registered under the Indian Trust Act and also registered with NGO-Darpan – NITI Aayog, Government of India. The major aim of the trust is to establish a research institution namely “CENTRE FOR DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESEARCH” to provide quality research in the areas of environment, development issues, education, health etc. and also to conduct training programmes and short term courses as and when it is necessary.
